This newly renovated AAA Three-Diamond TradeWinds Sandpiper Hotel and Suites is a beachfront hotel located on the gulf coast barrier island of Saint Pete Beach, approximately 30 minutes from Tampa International Airport. The resort is situated on five acres of beachfront property, north of TradeWinds Island Grand and lining the white sands of the Gulf of Mexico. Guests of the resort have access to a total of 23 acres of beach at the TradeWinds Island Resorts. Within ten miles of the hotel are Tropicana Field, Saint Petersburg Pier, Salvador Dali Museum, and Fort de Soto.

Hotel amenities include the private cabanas on the beach, two heated pools, and fitness center. A short walk away, the sister TradeWinds Island Resorts offer tennis, volleyball, paddleboats, whirlpools, and spa services. Take advantage of room charging privileges at 13 dining and entertainment venues, BodyWorks Salon, and six shops. The Explorer Value Pass, a nightly required fee per unit paid directly to the hotel, provides access to a wide variety of services at the resorts.
