Located across from Fort Myers Beach on Estero Bay is Santa Maria Harbour Resort. The water is serrated with wooden docks where manatees gather. Guests can enjoy swimming, fishing, and boating. There are also barbecue picnic areas and gazebo on site. The hotel also has hot tubs, a pool, gift shop, and a 36-slip harbor. Bring your boat and dock in one of the deep-water canals. Dockage includes water and electricity. The neighboring Fish Tale Marina rents boats and sells all boating and fishing supplies. The resort can arrange for children's activities for a fee.

On the southwest coast of Florida, on Fort Myers Beach, the resort is situated on a deep-water canal on the east side of Estero Island. The south end of the island is quiet and upscale. The resort is across the street from the beach and adjacent to restaurants, grocery stores, a drug store, and various clothing and gift boutiques. Big M Casino and the Xpress to Key West are five miles from the resort. Within 20 miles are Barbara B Mann Performing Arts, Edison-Fort Winter Estates, and Naples Greyhound Track. The resort offers parking at no charge.
